    These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of tutrx.org and the Tutrx mobile app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

    The Service

    Tutrx is a marketplace that connects clients with independent specialists for outsourced work and job support. Tutrx is not a party to the agreement between a client and a specialist; specialists are independent and not employees of Tutrx.

    Accounts

    You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity on your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms.

    Engagements, payments & payouts

    • Clients pay for work via Stripe — hourly engagements bill against confirmed hours; fixed-price engagements bill per cycle or milestone, held in escrow until approved.
    • Specialists receive payouts via Wise after work is confirmed, less Tutrx’s platform fee.
    • Refunds and disputes are handled per the in-app process and reviewed case-by-case.

    Acceptable use

    You agree not to misuse the Service, including by violating laws, infringing others’ rights, circumventing fees, posting harmful content, or attempting to disrupt the platform.

    Notifications

    By using the Service you may receive transactional notifications by email and in-app, and — if you opt in — by SMS and WhatsApp. See our SMS & Messaging Policy.

    Disclaimers & liability

    The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tutrx is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct, work product, or content of users.
