Engage an instructor for ongoing work — hourly or fixed price — and track each milestone or weekly timesheet from My Learning.
Find the right service
From the navigation bar, open Resume Help, Interview Help, or On Job Support. Browse instructors offering that service, click their card, and open the service detail page. You'll see the description, what's included, hourly rate, fixed price (if offered), reviews, and any free or paid consultation slots.
Pick hourly or fixed price
Click Book Service. If the instructor offers both, you'll choose between Hourly (pay by approved weekly timesheet) and Fixed (one flat fee for the whole job, optionally split into 2–4 milestones). For fixed, you can describe each milestone in plain language so the instructor knows what to deliver per stage.
(Optional) Submit a custom proposal
When the instructor has enabled custom contracts, you can override the listed rate, propose your own fixed price, or set a start date. The instructor still reviews and accepts or declines before any work begins.
Add a payment method
Hourly engagements require a saved card on file because the platform charges you off-session each time you approve a weekly timesheet. Fixed-price engagements charge per milestone via Stripe — the saved card is reused so funding takes one click.
Submit the request
Confirm the agreement checkbox and click Submit Request. The instructor is notified by email. You can track the status under My Learning → My Resume / Interview / Job Support: it starts as 'Awaiting Instructor' and moves to 'Active' once they accept.
Fund the work as it progresses
Hourly: nothing more to do up front — your saved card is charged when you approve each weekly timesheet. Fixed multi-milestone: fund Milestone 1 in Stripe; the instructor only starts that milestone's work once it's funded. Fund subsequent milestones as the instructor delivers and you approve each one.
