    How to Create Quizzes for Your Course

    Build quizzes from scratch or with AI, attach them to courses, and track student results.

    Step-by-step guide

      Open the Quiz Builder

      From your Instructor Dashboard, click 'Quiz Builder' in the sidebar navigation. This is your central hub for creating and managing all quizzes across your courses.

      Click 'Create Quiz'

      Click the 'Create Quiz' button in the top right. You'll be prompted to enter a title and optionally select a course and lesson to attach it to. You can also attach it to a course later.

      Add questions

      In the quiz editor, add questions one by one. Supported question types include multiple choice, true/false, and short answer. For each question, enter the question text, answer options, and mark the correct answer.

      Use AI to generate questions (optional)

      Click the AI assistant chat on the right side of the editor. Describe what topics you want to cover and the AI will generate quiz questions for you. You can review, edit, or regenerate any question before keeping it.

      Configure quiz settings

      In the Settings panel, set the passing score percentage, time limit (optional), and whether students can see correct answers after submission. These settings control the quiz experience for your students.

      Preview and publish

      Click 'Preview' to see exactly what students will see when taking the quiz. When you're satisfied, change the status to 'Published'. The quiz becomes available to enrolled students in the Quizzes tab of the attached course.

      Track student results

      After students complete your quiz, you can view their scores and responses. This helps you identify areas where students may need additional support or where your teaching materials could be improved.
